Timberlake High School in Spirit Lake is being evacuated because of smells that caused concerns that there might be a natural gas leak, a Kootenai County dispatcher confirmed about 7:50 a.m. today. Firefighters are on scene and Avista is heading to the school, the dispatcher said.
